Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using BadassPedia, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. See also our Privacy Policy, which governs how we handle your data.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Some quotes are flagged as adult content and hidden by default — you must explicitly opt in via your profile to view them.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. Don't share credentials or impersonate someone else.
• Choose a display name that isn't offensive, misleading, or impersonating another person or brand.

Content you submit

Signed-in users can rate quotes and post short comments. By submitting a comment or a quote (if you have submission access), you confirm that:

• It doesn't contain unlawful, harassing, hateful, or defamatory content.
• You have the right to share it, and it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
• You grant us a licence to display it within the app for as long as it remains posted.

You can remove your own comment at any time from the quote it's posted on.

Moderation and account actions

We may review, hide, or remove content — and suspend or terminate accounts — that violate these terms, at our discretion and without prior notice. This includes quotes submitted for the site, which go through a moderation queue before becoming publicly visible.

Quotes and intellectual property

Quotes on this site are sourced from films, books, and public figures for commentary, discussion, and reference purposes. Underlying rights in the original works remain with their respective owners. If you believe a quote or other content on the site infringes your rights, contact us at admin@badasspedia.com and we'll review it.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you directly.
